Strength & Conditioning

Strength and conditioning is a structured approach to improving physical performance through targeted exercise programs that build strength, endurance, power, and mobility. It is used to enhance athletic performance, support injury prevention, and aid rehabilitation by helping individuals move more efficiently, build resilience, and return safely to daily activities or sport.

About Strength & Conditioning

Maximizing athletes’ physical capabilities through a systematic approach to conditioning is the focus of Strength & Conditioning at BIHC.

We allow athletes to express their full potential in sport by:

  • Developing correct exercise technique with athletes to improve their strength and power
  • Address the athlete’s specific strengths and weaknesses
  • Improving athletes’ physical conditioning through sport-specific conditioning sessions

Benefits:

  • Helps keep the weight off for good
  • Protects bone health and muscle mass
  • Increases strength and fitness.
  • Helps develop better body mechanics
  • Plays a role in disease prevention
  • Boosts energy levels and improves your mood
  • Translates to more calories burned
  • Reduces risk of osteoporosis
  • Decreases injury risk

Strength training, also known as resistance training, weight training, or muscle-strengthening activity, is probably the most neglected component of fitness programs but one of the most beneficial.
