Registered Kinesiologist

Matt completed his Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology at Western University in 2014. He is registered with the College of Kinesiologist’s of Ontario since 2016. At Western, his focus of study included athletic injures, biomechanics of the human body, and exercise nutrition.

Matt’s role at BIHC is quite diverse. He completes Kinesiology Treatment providing movement and exercise science to promote optimize the function of the human body to patients of all ages. Further, Matt fulfills treatment plans working on rehabilitative programs for patients. Matt assists in the process of getting custom braces and orthotics.

Matt has years of experience in Kinesio taping, which he utilizes daily with numerous patients and athletes. He has also done training with the experts from the Prague school of rehabilitation (Czech Republic), in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS). This training has enabled him to understand neurodevelopmental aspects of motor control, in order to assess and restore dysfunction of the locomotor system and associated syndromes. Matt has completed training in Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) , and Therapeutic Ultrasound and Electric Therapy to support his patients.

Matt is born in raised in the Belleville area and now is happily raising his daughter in the same city. He has a long passion for physical exercise and well -being and enjoys getting to support patients in the Belleville area.
