Dr. Andrea Sorichetti is passionate about collaborative, patient-centred care that empowers people to move better, feel stronger and live healthier lives. She takes the time to see the whole person – listening carefully, and working alongside her patients to design individualized, evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation plans. Her focus is not only on healing injuries but also on addressing imbalances and dysfunctions in the body to prevent them from recurring.
Dr. Sorichetti earned dual degrees in Life Sciences and Physical & Health Education from Queen’s University before completing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). She also pursued additional training in Medical Acupuncture at McMaster University and earned her Veterinary Chiropractic certification through the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Centre.
Dr. Sorichetti has specialized training in pediatrics, pregnancy-related pelvic pain, breastfeeding support and diastasis rectus abdominis (abdominal muscle separation). She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is certified in the Webster Technique and trained in dry needling, myofascial release techniques, and the Fascial Abrasion Technique (F.A.T). In addition, Dr. Sorichetti is a certified mobility specialist and pediatric sleep consultant. She holds a pediatric certification in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) from the Prague School of Rehabilitation.
She was recently a Quinte Remarkable Women nominee and won the Reader’s Choice Award for Belleville’s Favourite Chiropractor early in her career.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Sorichetti enjoys running, skiing and spending time with her husband and two young children. She is honoured to serve the Quinte community and help her patients reach their health goals.
